Ranks

As with any army, there are ranks that each warrior rises through and takes positions of. They go as follows:

		Warrior -->	Capitan -->	Commander -->	Lieutenant
Kit -->	Apprentice	↨	Deputy -->	Leader

Cats rise through the ranks either by being chosen or by training. All cats start as apprentices, and can choose either to take the path of a Warrior or a Nurse. Warriors rise up to Lieutenant by showing leadership, character, skill in battle, and loyalty. Nurses rise to Healers or even to a Medicine Cat by studying the techniques of their seniors and doing their best to also heal.

Cats become a Deputy by being appointed when the spot is vacant, and Leaders rise from a Deputy when the current leader dies.
