Cold wind during the night was one of the reasons he had always hated Leaf-fall, especially when the changes between night and day were dramatic. Naturally, the young warrior was sitting once again atop the warrior's den, lying down on the cold stone and staring up at the dark blue sky. The stars, the little dots in the sky... many cats said that they belonged to the many cat spirits up in StarClan, but Cobaltfrost easily questioned everything. What if they were just little blots in the sky? What if they weren't really important? The fifteen moon old warrior knew that no one would appreciate those ideas, especially since he had no right to doubt them. Shivering as he licked his paws, he inwardly cursed his short fur that always remained short, only getting slightly longer for leaf-bare. Sighing and fidgeting, he turned his head upwards, looking up at the waning moon, which was almost a half moon now. Laying his head on his paws, he remained silent, his eyelids drooping over his bright green eyes. His eyes slid towards the entrance and exit of the Rebellion's base, his pupils narrowing, his mind still on the topic of StarClan.
They couldn't really exist, right? I mean... they're just... stories, right? There's no proof! None at all!
The blue tom huffed as he sat up and leapt off of the rock formation that was the Warriors' den, hoping that he had not awakened anybody inside. He checked over his shoulder, his tail waving. Nope, no one was awake, they were pretty much asleep. Slinking towards the center of the camp, he stared up at the sky again, trying to possibly figure out if StarClan existed, and if so, how.
...well... the Confederation hasn't attacked us yet, but our leader has since disappeared... from social life. Maybe they're waiting for fair game. Or maybe the Confederation lost quite a few members, and are trying to regain their numbers somehow or another. Or... maybe... ouch... can't think... wait... Cobaltfrost shook his head, staring down at the ground, unsheathing a claw and drawing in the ground randomly, his heart beating a little bit faster than usual, Maybe they're waiting for us to be weak, like right about now. Perhaps. It would make sense. I would. But I'm not all of the Confederation, nor do I want to be. So what do I possibly know? It won't make sense. And could StarClan possibly be a cause of that? A whole lotta cats say so. It seems far-fetched. They can't be all-seeing, that would be impossible! They don't know what's going on down here, do they? Or...
Once again, the young tom sighed, frowning. No matter how much he tried to twist it in his mind, and no matter how many tangents he went through to try to prove the point he didn't believe in, it didn't make much sense. His thoughts elsewhere as he contemplated the unlikely reality of the ancestors everyone talked so much about sometimes, leaving a perfect time to greatly surprise him -- not a good thing, but perhaps not a bad prospect, either.

The calico cat was padding around in a mindless circle, bored. She didn't want to go explore, she didn't want to do anything, really. But then, why was she doing that? Sitting down, the calico sighed. She looked around, aching to do something. 'What is wrong with me? Why can't I just get up and explore? Oh, that's right. I'm an idiot.'
Who was the idiot? Well, it was Sandstone. Sandstone of rebellion, and she was odd. She decided to get up and explore. Finally. Her green eyes scanned a small clearing, and she saw a younger cat. Cobaltfrost? she wondered, crouching close to the ground, she stalked him. Her fur was clashing with the dark brown earth. "Cobaltfrost?" she whispered, noticing the look in his eyes, it looked like he was thinking hrad about something... but what?[/blockquote] OOC;; Word- 135 Music- The arrival Muse- Uhm..

Cobaltfrost jumped a few feet in the air, spinning slightly in the air and landing with his hind legs in a sitting position and his front paws crossed. He stared at the she-cat with his pupils wide, leaving little room for his irises. Moving his paws into the correct sitting position, shaking his head, making his breathing slow for a few seconds.
"S-Sandstone! Ah, uh... h-hello," He stammered, still looking shocked, and was waiting for the she-cat to bite his head off or something. A slight shiver ran through his short pelt, and his tail flicked from side to side slowly. All thoughts of questioning StarClan at the back of his mind now, he forced his muscles to relax in the she-cat's presence.
But what is she doing? Oh, I sure hope she doesn't ask what I'm thinking about... I'm no good at lying...
Cobaltfrost's tail curled under his body and he crouched down in submission. Sandstone was older than him, and thusly much more experienced, and while he knew that it made him feel like he was losing his dignity and that it was unnecessary. He looked away, his ears flicking nervously.
"So..." He mewed, glancing around. ooc;; word count;; 194 words listening to;; MythBusters {Not very helpful...} muse;; Eh, pretty normal right now. comments;;
